By using the Windows 10 Technical Preview or an earlier version of the OS, you can install auto parts certifications that will be verified by Microsoft.
These auto-part certification tools are meant to make your life easier when buying new auto parts.
The Windows 10 auto-repair tools come with a simple install, which requires you to create a Microsoft account, open the “My accounts” tab, and then click on the AutoPart Certification tool icon.
You’ll see a list of auto-certified tools, with the first one being the AutoParts tool that comes with the Windows 8.1 update.
Click on it to begin installing auto-related tools, and you’ll be prompted to confirm that you want to apply the auto-perform checks.
Once you click on “Apply” the AutoPerform checkbox is automatically applied to the Auto Parts tool, and the installation is complete.
To make things even easier, we’ve included an in-depth guide on how to install AutoPerf tools on Windows 10.
AutoParts certification works with Windows 10 Home and Enterprise and will work on both 64-bit and 32-bit operating systems.
However, Windows 10 Pro users can use the Windows Insider program to receive automatic updates and to receive access to a Windows 10 AutoPart certifications installation kit.
We recommend using this program if you have already completed your Windows 10 installation.
In the future, we hope to provide a similar AutoPart certification solution for Windows 10 Mobile users as well.
If you have any questions about auto-installation of the Windows AutoPart tools, we’d love to hear from you in the comments.
