I’ve been riding the Tesla Model S all week, and one thing that has been the highlight of it is the Model 3.
For anyone who is curious, the Model S is the first all-electric car to be built entirely out of lithium-ion batteries.
In the years since, other manufacturers have begun using similar technology to make electric cars, but Tesla has done something very different with the Model III.
Unlike other electric cars like the BMW i3, the Tesla has an all-wheel drive system and the vehicle is incredibly fast.
In fact, it’s the fastest car ever built, going 0-60mph in 5.7 seconds and going over 160mph in just 4.8.
The Model 3 also boasts of a 0-62mph time of just 3.9 seconds, while a 0.4 second quarter mile time makes the Tesla feel like a supercar.
If you’re a Tesla owner, the car’s price tag will set you back $70,000, but if you want a more luxurious vehicle with all of the features of a luxury car, the price drops to $68,000.
That’s a lot of money for a car that will only cost you about $100,000 to build.
