Why you might buy a used car: “You’re the best at getting what you want,” said Mark Gautier, a retired Marine Corps sergeant who owns a Chevrolet Corvette Z06.
“You can get more for the money than a new car.”
Gautiers car is a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu.
His gun, a Smith & Wesson Model 7 revolver, was purchased in a 2014 sale.
“I just want to have my gun with me, always,” said Gauty, a former Navy SEAL who served in Afghanistan.
“That’s what I want.
That’s what my mom wants.”
“This is a business.
You have to make a decision,” said another buyer.
“The more you invest, the better you’ll make money.”
Read a different perspective from the pros: “I am a former Marine Corps veteran,” said John Kovalic, a gun dealer and a retired Navy SEAL.
“When I went to Iraq, I had a firearm.
I don’t have to deal with all the bureaucracy.
I can deal with guns in a way that I can’t deal with other things.”
Read how he and others got to this point: “It was very hard for me to sell my gun, and I wasn’t sure what I was going to do,” Kovalics son, Aaron, told VICE News.
“It’s a very complicated thing.
There are people out there that are going to take your guns and sell them for a dollar.”
